Welcome back to the California Migrant and Seasonal Head Start Conference!
After about 20 years, NMSHSA is proudly partnering up with California grantees and delegates to bring back this much needed gem as it focuses on empowering MSHS staff–from Direct Service Staff to Support Staff, to Leadership Staff and Governance.
We are excited for this four-day event that will run from April 13 through the 16 with a special one-day event that will feature unique tracks regarding topics related to Food Services, Transportation, Facilities/Custodial, and Governance. An option to register only for the one-day event will be available for those who are interested but cannot attend the full four days.
This California Conference is open to all MSHS states, so please feel free to join in on the fun!! We would love to see our entire MSHS family from across the country feel inspired and energized, just as they inspire and support our MSHS children!
Call for Presenters
The NMSHSA has officially opened applications for anyone interested in being a presenter for the 2025 California Conference!
We are actively seeking presenters who are eager to share valuable information with our diverse conference attendees, which will include MSHS staff, directors, CEOs, and parents.

Application for Presentation Sessions
We welcome applied research presentations on a range of topics of relevance to farmworker families and their young children, MSHS programs, and the MSHS workforce, as well as topics relevant to the broader culturally and linguistically diverse Hispanic population of families with young children.
