I started interning at UnidosUS. I met inspiring individuals and will attend policy meetings and an Education Summit in LA. This non-profit work feels deeply meaningful as it directly benefits families like mine.

Growing up in a family of farmworkers, I'm interning in DC, inspired by my parents and eager to learn. I'm determined to pave an easier path for future generations, especially my siblings, by pursuing a career that I am passionate about and hope to one day inspire them to pursue their dreams.
Breaking Barriers: Migrant Worker to Higher Education Scholar
We did it! We are here in D.C for a greater purpose and to be at the service of the MSHS programs. From working in the hot fields to the fresh air, I will embrace this learning experience to help my family and community. Adelante!

Core Memory of a Life Changing Experience
I've created a lot of core memories here in Washington, DC that now I get to take home. I can’t just choose one of my favorite moments in such a life changing experience. Every day I learned something new about myself and was open to meeting and trying new things. Enjoying time here wouldn't have been possible without my classmates, NMSHSA, or CLC.
