Networking 101: Practice Makes Perfect
Throughout our internship we have had the opportunity to meet many inspiring leaders in DC. We were able to hear from these leaders and learn about their careers, education, and listen to their advice for us as we all start out our professional careers.
Key to a Position
Networking to me is the key to finding a job or even moving forward. It is easier and quicker to get a job when you know someone, or someone knows about you. There is more trust between a connection than having to get to know a stranger.

Although I did not get to spend my summer in Washington DC for the duration of this internship, my experiences over the past several weeks have enhanced my strengths and improved my weaknesses – even while on the opposite side of this country.
